**Mary Ricketson, poet, and Denise Gainey, clarinetist, join to perform Mary’s poetry,

set as a song cycle for soprano, clarinet, and piano.

Shards of Hope is composed by Andrew Wilson, London England.

Mary will read primarily from her poetry books, Tall Flowers and Living Long, and Shade and Shelter.

Denise is an accomplished musician, Distinguished Professor of Music Emerita,

University of Alabama at Birmingham, past president of the International Clarinet Association.**
